Night of the Doctor just put one really large change in both the Doctor Who and Sonic Screwdriver datasets. This is why I told Jürgen that absolutely nothing could be done until after all the episodes and minisodes had been televised. The sonic dataset is nearing 900 uses over the course of 50 years. I search the internet for many interesting articles about data analysis. I ran across this one today. This web site shows, in real time, every birth and death on the planet [more or less]. I have no idea what it took to put this together but it's absolutely fascinating.

I just finished every episode of Doctor Who from Fury of the Deep to The Name of the Doctor looking for all the uses of the sonic screwdriver. I've come up with 784 total.

Now I get to start tweaking the data set and figuring what type of analysis can be done.

Every step I take forward leads to more things [and programs] I need to learn. After fighting with my data in Excel and being told I need to learn Perl I found an on-line program from Stanford which is used to work with your data and form it into a shape Excel or the data visualization programs want.
